Alex Wilhelm of TechCrunch argues that the best time to invest in a market is often when most investors are running for the exits.

Baron Rothschild famously advised that “the time to buy is when there’s blood in the streets.”

We agree. Valuation are down and it is much less likely that a competitor will be funded if you just invested in the first mover in a particular market.

We believe this is a great time to be investing in early stage startups.
