Today, I attended an event organized by IFC – International Finance Corporation [https://www.linkedin.com/company/ifclinkedin/] and CGEM [https://www.linkedin.com/company/conf%C3%A9d%C3%A9ration-g%C3%A9n%C3%A9rale-des-entreprises-du-maroc/] on a topic that is close to my heart: gender equality in the private sector.
During his speech, the Moroccan Minister of economic inclusion, Dr. younes sekkouri [https://www.linkedin.com/in/ACoAAAxxq1oBHY6FydTnpK10slYAa5d7vKWLDlA] mentioned a case study he worked on He gave the example of a company that changed his clients experience by employing more women. It made me smile Why? Because at Chari, we decided very early on to employ as many women as we could. It honestly had a positive impact on our UX and automatically improved our start-ups performance.
53% – its the number I am proud of 53 employees out of 100 are women at Chari – YC S21 – Ecom and Fintech apps for retailers in French-speaking Africa [https://www.linkedin.com/company/charimaroc/]
